| HATE IS NOT A LARAMIE VALUE |

| | indescribable | ] | "Go home. Give your kids and don't let a day go by without telling them that you love them."
Opening night of THE LARAMIE PROJECT was amazing. I really can't think of words to express how i am feeling right now. I am so proud to be a part of this production. I've never been in a show that has such inspirational and thought-provoking moments...monologues...and themes. This is different than any other show I have done because the issues in it are so topical to today's society. That is one reason why I feel everyone should make it a point to come see it this weekend. No matter what your personal views are; come see it. The show was written in a very balances, fair way. It is not an accusation; it is the facts! I was so happy to hear so many good things from random people throughout the day. I just feel...like we are helping fight hate by doing this play...some of the most surprising people came to see it and were very complementary...its great to see people who normally wouldnt accept this kind of a thing at the show...its opening people eyes...and its starting discussions...thats the point...to get people to talk...I am so excited to do it again tonite and the rest of the weekend...i will be very sad when this is over...it has been such an amazing experience since the beginning....but now that we're showing this to the public...it seems so more real...we're reaching out to people...WE ARE LIKE THIS....i wrote a poem in the beginning of the rehearsal process(some may remember)....i completely disagree with everything i said in that poem...anyways...i hope to see you all at...

| | Joseph... | ] | When a small town comes face to face with murder, everybody has a tale to tell.
In October 1998, 21 year-old Matthew Shepard was found savagely beaten, tied to a fence and left to die in Laramie, Wyoming. "The Laramie Project" is a portrait of a town painfully forced to confront itself in the reflective glare of the national spotlight. How did this town with a "live and let live" philosophy become a town where young men could commit such a heinous crime?

| | Miss Saigon | ] | Hey everyone! I have not updated in quite a while, but thought it was necessary to update due to some very important information you all must know about(haha jk but it is important...Friday, October 1st is my 17th Birthday!!!!! Its really strange to think that I will be 17 years old...thats just one year away from 18...how crazy is that? I will be able to legally drive...HELLS YEA(can i get a hoot hoot!?)...i know somewhere helen and or caroline are going "hoot hoot."...lol...but on a serious note...it is really weird...time is flying by way too fast...its like my childhood is being pulled out from under me...dramatic...whatever, its my body and i can do what i want with it...jk..random...so in conlusion MY BIRTHDAY is on FRIDAY OCTOBER 1ST!!!!!!!!!
...the following is a random poem...
Why is she turning something so beautiful into something so ugly? What is the opposite of gilding a lily...dipping it in a turd? Frustration is mounting, I just don't understand... Honestly, where the hell do decisions come from? I know, the deep dark abyss of her anus! Die art..die...multiply..multiple...why? This is crazy...who does this?...where in the hell does this come from? How can we save this?...making it much worse than it is...could be? who knows? We shall see...the winds may change...please gusts blow...help H-O-P-E my savior forever more! |

...i woke up early and called holly...we made plans to go to the shore(as in ocean city)..so holly came over and me my mom and holly headed down the shore...it was a fun car ride...i drove and we were blastin Avenue Q..WICKED..and the last five years...all really different and really good...so before we went to ocean city we visited my brother's new house...got to the shore...went on the beach and laughed a lot...going to the beach with holly is very interesting...she is like helen keller in the water...she couldn't stay on her feet and kept swallowing water..so she was drooling a lot and it was so amusing... then we went for a long walk and collected sea shells...we found some really pretty ones, which we later made into a wind chime thing at my house...its really cool looking, but i burnt my fingers when using the hot glue...ouch...i tend to have bad experiences with hot glue:(...lol...some of you may know what i'm talking about...o 8th grade..it seems so long ago...things are so different now in my life...its really weird that life can be changed so dramatically in the course of a year...everything's for the better...in the end
...:confusion is still confusing:... |
